Gwyneth M. Eliasson, J.D., M.P.H., assistant professor in the Department of Health Behavior, Society, and Policy at Rutgers School of Public Health, has been elected to join the American Society for Law, Medicine & Ethics (ASLME) Board of Directors.
ASLME is the premier organization for faculty at schools of law, medicine, public health, nursing, business, and social work. Founded in 1911, this nonprofit education organization (with a multidisciplinary focus) publishes two peer-reviewed journals – the Journal of Law, Medicine, & Ethics (JLME) and the American Journal of Law & Medicine (AJLM) – and sponsors webinars and conferences, including the Annual Health Law Professors Conference.
Prof. Eliasson began her 3-year term this month. In her new leadership role, she will serve on the Membership Committee, working to support and engage current members as well as increase new membership.
