About our MS Degrees
We offer several STEM-designated MS degrees at the Rutgers School of Public Health. Our 30-credit MS in Biostatistics prepares students to possess the knowledge and technical skills needed for the design, data analysis, and interpretation of findings from modern health-related studies. Our 36-credit MS in Epidemiology – with an Pharmacoepidemiology concentration option - prepares students for public health, clinical practice, and population health research through comprehensive training in epidemiology theory, research methods, and analytical methods. Offered jointly with the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, our MS in Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics is designed to support health care and health regulatory professionals seeking a multidisciplinary graduate program that will prepare them to make efficient and effective data driven decisions impacting health economics, patient outcomes, cost effectiveness, and health policy.
