You’ll be in the center of it all. New Jersey is right next to New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. and you can get just about anywhere in New Jersey and beyond using the country’s densest network of highways and railroads.
Whether you’re #TeamPorkRoll or #TeamTaylorHam, you can chow down on the world’s most famous mystery meat at Henry’s Diner located on Livingston Campus in the “Diner Capital" of the world.
We’re pretty proud of our produce. Our award-winning tomatoes, corn, blueberries, and cranberries can’t be beat. Plus, New Jersey has some of the most stringent water testing laws in the country. In fact, Jersey City, New Jersey was the first city in the U.S. to begin routine disinfection of community water.
The first ever intercollegiate football game was played here between Rutgers and Princeton (Rutgers won)!
