Research and Training

Our Research

Supported by the school’s Office of Research, faculty staff, and students are actively engaged in scholarship to advance public health. Faculty-led research programs reflect a broad range of topics, including modern quantitative and qualitative methods, bioethics, cancer health disparities, environmental health justice, health reform and access to care, infectious diseases, LGBTQ health, occupational health, population aging, sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, substance use and mental health, translational science, pharmacoepidemiology, violence prevention, and more.

Office of Research

The school's Office of Research seeks to advance the health and wellbeing and prevent diseases throughout New Jersey, the United States, and the world by supporting the school’s research portfolio.

The office:

  • Facilitates the proposal application, agreement, and award process
  • Communicates and coordinates sources of financial support for research
  • Supports and oversees the performance of compliant research activity
