Embracing the LGBTQ Community: A Symposium of Inclusion and Understanding

This symposium aims to provide valuable insights and knowledge on (1) providing culturally competent healthcare to LGBTQ patients, (2) creating affirming and inclusive spaces within our hospital departments, (3) staying updated on the latest advancements in affirming care and surgeries for adults, (4) laws and policies affecting the LGBTQ community and affirming healthcare, and (5) a special course discussing the intersection of the LGBTQ community and religion, led by a reverend from the community.
