Biography

Shou-En Lu, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Rutgers School of Public Health. She is also a member of the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Shou-En Lu received her doctorate degree in biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Research Interests

Dr. Lu’s statistical research interest focuses on the methodology development of survival analysis and longitudinal/clustered data analysis, with applications to observational studies and adaptive clinical trial designs. She has also been working as a lead statistician and/or a leader in the statistical and data quality core on multiple federally funded studies in the areas of behavioral health research, cancer, opioid, environmental health, and sleep, etc.
