Biography

Koshy Koshy, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice at the Rutgers School of Public Health. He earned his doctoral degree in environmental sciences from Rutgers University.

Research Interests

Dr. Koshy's research interests are in understanding the root causes of why workers get injured because this is essential to reducing workplace hazards. Dr. Koshy focuses his research on identifying impediments to workers receiving adequate environmental and safety and health training and strategies to give them a voice in their company injury and illness prevention programs. Dr. Koshy is committed to matching master of public health occupational safety and health students with opportunities to broaden their awareness to worker safety issues.
