Biography
Gwyneth M. Eliasson, J.D., M.P.H., is a social justice attorney and an assistant professor in the Department of Health Behavior, Society, and Policy at the Rutgers School of Public Health. Ms. Eliasson focuses her research at the intersection of law and policy, with an emphasis on marginalized populations. She managed Center for Disease Control-contracted projects with the Center for Public Health Law Research at Temple University Beasley School of Law and consulted for Rutgers School of Law on grant-funded projects to develop a medical-legal partnership program in Camden, New Jersey. Before joining Rutgers, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the School of Public Health - SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
She received her doctoral degree from Brooklyn Law School and her Master in Public Health in health systems and policy from the Rutgers School of Public Health.
