Biography

Erica L. Eliason, Ph.D., M.P.H. is an assistant professor in the Department of Urban-Global Public Health at Rutgers School of Public Health. She is also a member of the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy.

Before joining Rutgers, Dr. Eliason was a Brown University School of Public Health postdoctoral researcher. She earned her M.P.H. from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and her Ph.D. from Columbia School of Social Work.

Research Interests

Dr. Eliason is a health services researcher who focuses much of her work on the effects of health policies on maternal, child, and reproductive health and health equity, with a particular emphasis on Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program policies.
