Under Registration Quick Links, click Register for Courses
Under Register for Course, select Click here to Search the Course Schedule. This will bring you to the start of the online Course Schedule. Select the Term for the School of Public Health (SPH) and click Submit. Be sure to select the term for the School of Public Health. For example, for the School of Public Health's Spring 2018 term, select Spring 2018 (SPH).
To view all available courses within a Subject (e.g., Department), highlight the Subject name (i.e. Biostatistics) and then click Class Search. To view courses within multiple subjects, hold the Control-key as you highlight the Subject names.
After you click Class Search, a list of courses will be shown (Class Schedule Listing).
Log into myRutgers Web Portal
Enter your NetID and Password. Your NetID is your Rutgers email name (i.e., the part of the address before the “@sph.rutgers.edu”).
Note: If you have not received your Rutgers email, contact the School of Public Health's Office of the Registrar at 732-235-9724 or email@example.com.
If you have your correct NetID, but are still unable to log into My.Rutgers portal, contact the Rutgers Technology Service Center at (732) 743-3200 to request for your access to be reset. The Service Center is open from 7:30am to 5:00 pm (EST), Monday through Friday.
Once logged into myRutgers, click the Banner Self-Service tab. Look for the Student Enrollment Services section, click Registration.
At the Registration page, complete the four steps to register for courses: review your eligibility for enrollment, select term and courses, calculate tuition and fees, and review your course schedule.
Step 1: Check Eligibility to Register - you will be notified of any administrative holds placed onto your student account. Please contact the appropriate office (i.e. Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Student Loans, Accounts Receivable/Cashier’s Office) as soon as possible to clear any holds. Step 2: Select Term & Courses - Be sure to select the term for the School of Public Health. For example, for the School of Public Health's Spring 2018 term, select Spring 2018 (SPH).
Note: The School of Public Health also uses (17) for Fall, (57) for Spring and (77) for Summer, which appears to the right of each term code. Terms that have “(View only)” to the right are closed for registration.
Once you have selected the term, to view all available courses within a Subject (e.g., Department), highlight the Subject name (i.e. Biostatistics) and then click Class Search. To view courses within multiple subjects, hold the Control-key as you highlight the Subject names.
Course Selection - Once you have determined a course that you plan to enroll in for the selected term, click View Sections.
Courses that are available for web registration will have a check box to the left of the CRN. Courses without a box to the left of the CRN indicate that you already registered for the course. Courses with a ‘C’ to the left of the CRN indicate that the specific course is either Closed or Cancelled. Select the section and click Register. You will then be prompted to enter in your Web Registration PIN.
Web Registration PIN - Based on your program, you web registration pin will be distributed to you by your academic advisor. Each web registration PIN is six numerical digits which change each semester.
