    MPH Applied Practice Experience refers to PRAC 0715 Applied Practice Experience. MPH Practicum Capstone refers to PRAC 0716 Practicum Capstone and PRAC 0717/0718 Practicum Capstone.  Students registering for PRAC 0715, PRAC 0716 or PRAC 0717 are required to review their Learning Agreement with faculty advisor and upload approved and signed Learning Agreement via Canvas. Students must register themselves online for PRAC 0715, PRAC 0716 or PRAC 0717 once cleared by the SEAA Practice Team. Students registering for two-semester Capstone can register online for PRAC 0718 once a passing grade is received for PRAC 0717. More information can be found here.

  • Students who stop attending a course without officially dropping the course will receive a failing grade. Furthermore, students dropping to zero credits for the semester are considered withdrawn and must submit a Leave of Absence Form. If you do not register for any courses or submit a leave of absence form you will be administratively withdrawn from the School of Public Health.

    PhD in Public Health students who drop a course within the first 10 academic days of the semester are eligible for 100% refund. Courses dropped within 11-15 academic days are subject to an 80% refund and W grade. After 15 academic days, up until the end of week 10, dropped coursework is subject to a 0% refund and W grade.

    April 14, 2025 – September 15, 2025

    100% refund for all dropped courses and no class recorded.

    Last day to add a course to existing schedule
    Last day to drop course w/o "W" grade if not withdrawing in full

    September 16, 2025 – September 22, 2025

    40% refund for all dropped courses and a W grade recorded.
