Dean Receives Helen Rodriguez-Trías Social Justice Award from APHA
Perry N. Halkitis, dean of the Rutgers School of Public Health, has received the 2024 Helen Rodriguez-Trías Social Justice Award from the American Public Health Association for his advocacy work and research aimed at improving the health of LGBTQ+ people and populations. The award is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves professionally by championing social justice for underserved and disadvantaged populations.
