Message from Associate Dean

Public health research directly contributes to our quality of life. This includes the education that we deliver to our students and the information we provide to agencies, organizations, communities, and citizens. Public health threats, ranging from common infectious diseases to the potential use of weapons of mass destruction, impact our daily existence. We are constantly challenged to make sound decisions to live healthier in a fast-paced society. One of the ways that we can meet these challenges is by conducting research that contributes to the current body of knowledge on cause and effect and on preventive steps we can take.

Through this Website and other activities, we will support the research efforts of the School of Public Health aculty, staff, and students. Our services include identifying funding sources, facilitating the grant application process, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Our dedicated staff will do what is necessary to allow the faculty to concentrate on the scientific and programmatic aspects of their endeavors.

Thank you for visiting our Website. We are always looking for ways to improve. Feel free to contact us about effectively meeting your needs.
