The DrPH in Health Education & Behavioral Science degree in was designed to provide students with the necessary skills to develop, implement, and evaluate health based programs that can be targeted toward individuals across the lifespan. This degree offers students training in behavioral science concepts, methods and study designs suitable for implementing or evaluating public health programs. Upon completion of the degree, students will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: critically analyze scientific literature; develop, implement and be able to supervise health-based program; design and coordinate evaluation of health based programs; demonstrate proficiency in program evaluation and related data analysis strategies; and demonstrate proficiency in behavioral/environmental models of behavior change.
**UPDATE** Please note we are not accepting applications to the DrPH degree program for the 2017-2018 academic year as we revise the DrPH curriculum. The PhD degree program is accepting applications.
