Curriculum for the
Master of Public Health (MPH) in Dental Public Health (45 credits)

Students seeking the MPH in Dental Public Health degree must complete 45 credits of academic work with a minimum GPA of least 3.0; earn no more than nine (9) credits bearing grades less than “B,” and complete the degree requirements within six years. Courses are three credit hours unless otherwise noted.

By the time students have completed the core courses, they will indicate a preference for one of these two areas:

  • oral epidemiology
  • public policy and oral health service administration

Working with their advisors, students will select appropriate elective courses to build expertise in the selected area and will identify appropriate fieldwork options to support their choice.
