Why public health?
Being a dentist, I have enjoyed a high compatibility period with my patients during my internship and clinical tenure. Life was much more comfortable but I had my dreams. I made certain choices regarding where I saw myself in five years. I realized that the awareness of dental health is very low, and not just in developing countries. Pursuing a Masters in Public Health will help me in gaining depth in my field of interest. And then I decided “to go beyond clinics and operatory.”

Why Chose Rutgers School of Public Health
Rutgers School of Public Health, formerly UMDNJ, was the best on my admits list, the reason having good overall ranking among top 100 research university in the whole country. Besides this, the Dental Public Health curriculum provides an opportunity to select an area of concentration in the field of oral epidemiology, biostatistics, research methods and public policy and oral health service administration- these are the subjects which are going to be very important for th attainment of my goals!
